The Animations are an optical illusion and are best described as a trick of the mind, when several images are collected up of a puppet at different points in its movement and played back and super speed the effect is that the puppet is moving ergo Animated!
The Studio was formed not long ago after my 20th birthday, I created my first animation (which you can see below) just before my birthday and the feeling I had just expressing my feelings and my world through that was so great, it felt as though I had taken an unimportant object(in this case a toy Dalek) and breathed life into it... in fact I felt in a way it was alive and it's that feeling that led me to get further invested in Animation and all it has to offer!
It was not long after I put this video up that I received a lot of positive comments from friends & family and that had a huge impact on my life, the video above took roughly 7 hours to complete give or take the odd hour am not exactly sure I started because I was bored at about 10pm you know something to do before bed and at about 5am it was complete, it took roughly 800 photographs though future movies will not cost that much as I believe I was still new to it and of course I had no idea what I was doing.
My next video I did around the time of my birthday about a week after the Dalek and I tried to mix Live Movie with Stop-Start though I did not end up with the same results that I were after, I think for the time being I should stick to just stop start though that animation short is available to you below!
